Chapter 10 Lunch - August 2025

 

We had lunch today at 
Big Jake's Cafe
16519 US-59, Moscow, TX 75960

We had 22 present. The service and food was good.

Next luncheon will be at the Blue Duck, in 
downtown Livingston on Friday. September 12 
at 1:30 p.m.

In October, on Friday and Saturday, 10th and 
11th from 9-4 we will have a vendor day
at the Activity Center with food for sale by Lemon 
Tree Bakery and one or more food trucks. On 
Friday, 10 October at 2 p.m. we will have a Bake 
Auction with proceeds going to the Livingston 
Volunteer Fire Department (LVFD). Proceeds
from booth rental will go to Escapees CARE.  
We will not have a Chapter 10 luncheon in 
October, which would normally occur on 10
 October (second Friday).

For a rally in March or April we are considering 
the Stark House, Stark Museum and or Shangri La 
Botanical Gardens and Nature Center in the
Orange, Texas area as one area to visit. Jim
Weston presented some history of the Stark family
who made money in lumber and gave a 
description of these Stark sites.

Potluck for the whole Park, Thursday 21 August 
2025 at the Clubhouse at 5 p.m.

The Escapees RV Club's 65th Escapade (2026) 
will be held in Fryeburg, Maine, from June 14-19, 
at the Fryeburg Fairgrounds.
