Happenings in Chapter 10 this summer

Susie & Denny Orr ask:  Have you checked out the NEW Escapees website?  It has a whole new look.  Go to www.escapees.com and be sure to follow the instructions for your NEW id/password.  MYSKP is now active.  Also info for MYMail including requestring mail, adding postage.  Membership Directory now lists names by SKP#, the Member Handbook is now available on line as well as Emergency Documents....Check it out!  Cruise through Benefits to see Magazine, info to join the Mail Service, Parking, Events (that's the latest rally Calendar), Groups (that's where to find chapter/c-bof/bof information, Escapade and more!  Resources has areas of interest and the Forum is the place to research RV questions.
Susie & Denny took a 'much too short' inland passage to Alaska cruise with some SKP friends this summer and are now rambling and enjoying summer travels on their way to Escapade.
I sent you a copy of the Days letter saying they finally made it to their home in NC.
Bob Piercy had gallbladder surgery this summer and he also remarried.  Congratulations to them both!
Sharon Bradshaw had gallbladder surgery just before the 4th of July and is doing great. The Wiehrs have both had bouts with their health but Loretta is back playing Pinochle, Ralph is in a local nursing home.
Tommy Marshall had back surgery earlier this summer and Joan just got a bionic knee 2 weeks ago.
The Holts have their houe for sale, time to move closer to their children they say.
We were so sad to hear about the death of Martin Bal and the injury of his wife Joan (Chapter 10 members).  They were resting after a lunch stop at a rest area in Kansas when an 18 wheeler lost control and slammed into their 5th wheel.  Joan is with their daughter last we heard.

Almost time for the July meeting.
JULY 13 - FRIDAY - 1 P.M. AT CATFISH HAVEN ON RTE 59 SOUTH, GOODRICH.
Just might have some hints about the fall rally coming up in Louisiana.
