Chapter 10 Lunch and Election December 2020 - La Casita

 

The December 2020 lunch will be Friday, December 11, 2020 at 1 p.m. at:

Please remember to bring your name badges. I encourage wearing badges at all Escapee events, it helps everyone remember your name. If you need a name badge, you can get one made inexpensively at the Escapees Headquarters building at Rainbow's End.

Visitors and guests are encouraged to attend. You'll be made to feel welcome.

What to do to make this lunch a success.

1. Sign up. To help ensure that we are prepared for the number of people that attend we are asking people to signup for the lunch.  Call me or send me an email at dhorton2@aol.com letting me know that you plan to attend. 936-327-5870 (land line) leave a message. 563-529-6181 ( cell - text - include your name(s) ) Or if it applies, reply to the ParkEmail or Chapter 10 email in which you received this message. Please let me know by Thursday at noon.

1. DO NOT COME if you are feeling sick, have COVID-19, have been exposed to someone who has COVID-19 or had COVID-19 and you have not been cleared by your doctor,  or you are concerned it is too early or too risky for a gathering like this lunch. 

2. The Escapees organization has not to my knowledge changed their recommendation/requirement that gatherings like this should not occur because of the pandemic.  Therefore this lunch gathering is not an official Escapee event. 

3. No earlier than 12:30 - Do not enter the restaurant before 12:30 p.m.  I will be working with the restaurant to have the back room set up appropriately for our meeting taking social distancing into account. We will not be ready for members to enter until 12:30 p.m.

4. Wear a mask into the restaurant and wear it at any time you are not maintaining social distancing. Bring some hand sanitizer for personal use and use it. 

5. Wear your name badge.

2. Pledge of Allegiance and Blessing of the food.

3. Discussion on social distancing and masks. 

4. Introduction of visitors and guests

5. Everyone introduces themselves.

6. Birthdays and Anniversaries

7. Hotdog Roast - No Bake Bake Sale - Discussion - Fundraising for our usual CARE donation.

8. Any other announcements for the good of the group 

Chapter dues,  $5 per year.
