ANNUAL HOT DOG FEED

AND AUCTION

$5                                                $5

This Friday January 12th at noon at the Activity Center

Hot Dog meal $5 each.     Free to members of Chapter 10

If you are not a member of Chapter 10 you can join and get your hot dog free. To join Chapter 10 the annual membership dues are $5 per person or $5 for a couple.

Hot dog meal:  ¼ pound all beef hot dog, bun, potato salad, cookie, coffee, lemonade, ice tea.  Toppings for the hot dog: chili, sauerkraut, ketchup, chopped onions, mustard

AUCTION

Check your RV, house, closets, garages or storage sheds for items to donate.  Last year we had a great selection of donated goods, hoping for the same this year.

Following the meal at 1 p.m. we will have the auction of donated items. Proceeds of the auction benefit the operation of Chapter 10 and the charitable contributions Chapter 10 makes.  Bring items to donate to the Activity Center on Friday after 11 a.m. or contact David Hoton 327-5870 dhorton2@aol.com

The lunch was well attended with 37 present.  We held an election and Chapter 10 will continue (which was in doubt prior to the lunch.)

Stephanie and Ray Borgman have stepped down as Wagon Masters.  For now Chapter 10 will continue without having rallies unless someone volunteers to be wagonmaster.  Cora and Bob Boyett have stepped down as Chapter Historian.  I am looking for a volunteer to take over that position for a year.

Many thanks to Gene Jensen, Bruce Horton, Yvonne Horton, Stephanie and Ray Borgman, and Cora and Bob Boyett for their service to Chapter 10.

Our lunch will also include one of our twice a year business meetings.  We often have our business meetings during a Rally. I felt that we did not have enough people present at the Fall Rally to conduct a business meeting, especially considering some important decisions that need to be made.  As of the writing of this email we do not have any nominations or volunteers to serve as officers in Chapter 10.  Our President, Treasurer, and Secretary no longer wish to serve, they have all been officers for two years or more already. For now I am willing to continue as Vice-President.(David Horton).

BUSINESS MEETING AGENDA

1. Nomination and election of officers if any are willing.
2. Determine the fate of Chapter 10.  Possibly continue on a limited capacity,  lunches only. If empty positions are not filled determine the fate of Chapter 10.  
3. If Chapter 10 is to become inactive or disband, determine disposition of assets in accordance with the bylaws.   

Let me or one of the other officers know if you are interested in serving as an officer or come to the meeting and nominate yourself.

Chapter 10 will not have a lunch in November. Our next lunch will be on December 8, 2017 at 1 p.m.  Location TBD.

Chapter 10 Rally - not too late
